Privacy Notice

This interim notice explains the data the current DialPool application uses. A final owner-approved privacy policy and privacy contact are still required before public paid launch.

Data used by the service

DialPool stores account credentials in protected form, profile details you choose to provide, authentication-session records, calling activity, scores, progression, social relationships, chat messages, matchmaking state, and access-entitlement records. If you choose to connect Discord, DialPool also stores your Discord account ID, username, display name, and avatar reference. Public competitive surfaces may show your username, avatar, title, niche, status, rank, gameplay statistics, and connected Discord username.

Payments and authentication

When checkout is enabled, payment is handled by Stripe. DialPool records the provider checkout reference and access result but does not collect or store full card numbers. Authentication uses an HTTP-only account cookie; passwords and active session tokens are not displayed on public player surfaces. Discord linking uses Discord OAuth with the basic identity scope. DialPool uses the temporary access token only to retrieve the approved identity and does not retain Discord access or refresh tokens.

Why records are kept

Records are used to operate accounts, authorize access, restore live sessions, calculate gameplay results and rewards, prevent duplicate actions, support social features, and investigate reliability or abuse. Account deletion is available in player settings after any payment, session, or active match finishes. A settled competitive result may retain an anonymous participant and final score so deleting one profile does not rewrite another player's record.

Policy status

The business owner must still publish contact details, retention periods, regional rights instructions, and any third-party service disclosures required for the intended audience. Until then, this notice should not be treated as a complete privacy policy for a paid public launch.
